On Wednesday evening May 18, the Virtues Project -Faribault participated in the Recovery Event in Central Park. We were among many different community resources who each play an important role in the substance abuse recovery process.
Members of the Faribault Area Learning Center (ALC) and Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) planned the event aiming to bring the community together and build connections. Faribault Parks and Recreation assisted by providing the location and bandshell.
The music was amazing and we were able to share information about using the power of Virtues with many who attended. We gave away codes for people to access the Virtues Card APP and had a drawing for cards too. The rain stopped the event a little early, but the enthusiasm and friendliness were in full force!
