The fun was in the challenge. Kids of all sizes had a terrific time at the Kids Challenge course at Hy-Vee on Saturday August 17. Organized my the remarkable Laura O'Connor, the Kids Challenge event featured an energizing warm up, unlimited fun in a course designed for kids, hula hoop demonstration and play, and healthy treats. Each child got a medal to celebrate their participation. Over $5000.00 was raised locally to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. The Virtues Project was invited to help kids get ready by choosing a virtue they could demonstrate during the challenge.
The Virtues chosen by the children became their name tag! It was terrific to be included in this wholesome fun activity!
