Family and friends gathered and anxiously waited for Carol Musel to arrive. They had been planning this surprise for a while. Carol's sister-in-law, Vicki Gravlin nominated Carol. Vicki wanted to honor Carol for her dedication to her beautiful adopted daughter and to the many children she cared for as a foster parent and day care provider.
A cousin was moved to tears talking about Carol's support for her when her husband died, but the most profound speaker of the night was Carol's grandson who read a prepared speech about the love and devotion he felt from her all his life.
The Virtues that were called out that Carol shows in her life were: Caring, Compassionate, Cheerful, Considerate, Creative, Flexible, Empathy, Friendly, Generous, Helpful, Kind and Loving.
