The idea for this new installation came from Wanda Holmgren, Roosevelt Elementary School Art Teacher and local artist. She was awarded a grant from the Artists on Main Street Program through the Faribault Main Street organization.
Her vision is to provide affirmations of the virtues within us all, through mirrored signs that reinforce the goodness in each of us. Rebecca Gramse Thomas from MRG Tool and Die came to the rescue as an engineer and virtues project advocate to assist with designing the signs. Each sign will feature a message in English, Spanish and Somali. Many local philanthropists assisted in funding this project.
